SMS terms & conditions.
Last updated: January 1, 2026. These terms govern text messages sent by Hughes Insurance Agency ("we," "us," "our").
1. Program description
When you provide your mobile number and check the SMS consent box on our contact form, or otherwise expressly opt in, you agree to receive text messages from Hughes Insurance Agencyrelated to your insurance quote, policy, claims, appointment reminders, and customer service. This is a conversational and transactional messaging program. We do not sell or share your mobile number or SMS consent with any third party or affiliate for marketing purposes.
2. Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us. You will only receive messages in connection with your inquiry, quote, or policy.
3. Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan and contact your wireless provider for details. Hughes Insurance Agency is not responsible for charges from your carrier.
4. Opt-out — STOP
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Reply STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send STOP, we will send a confirmation message and no further texts will be sent. You may opt back in by texting us again or submitting the contact form with the SMS box checked.

6. Supported carriers
Supported carriers include AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint, Boost, U.S. Cellular, MetroPCS, Cricket, Virgin Mobile, and most other U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
7. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number provided, and a resident of the United States. By opting in, you represent that you meet these requirements.
8. Privacy
Your information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Mobile information and SMS consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
9. Changes
We may update these SMS terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
